It differs from a neuropsychological evaluation in that it places greater emphasis on emotional and behavioral functioning rather than an in-depth measurement of cognitive abilities.

2-3 Hour Zoom psychological Evaluation
Evaluations are completed online via Zoom with a live expert neuropsychologist and will last approximately 4-5 hours (length varies). The appointment will include a clinical interview and formal testing of your cognitive skills, such as memory, attention, and language. Approximately 1-2 weeks after your initial appointment, you will attend a feedback session and receive a written report of the findings.
As part of Minder’s commitment to accessibility, we offer out-of-pocket rates that are dramatically less expensive (60-70%) than typical clinics. If you have a PPO plan, most of these costs should be eligible for reimbursement by your insurance plan. We also offer payment plans by calling 855-264-6337.

What happens next?

CLINICAL INTAKE
After booking with Minder, the patient completes an online intake form, covering their demographics, medical history, and reason for seeking an evaluation.

TECH CHECK SCHEDULED
4-5 days before your evaluation, you’ll complete a short Tech Check with our team. We will confirm your technology is set up correctly, and we’ll prepare you for your appointment.

TELEHEALTH EVALUATION
On the evaluation day, the psychologist greets the patient via Zoom and conducts a clinical interview, followed by cognitive testing by a psychometrist. This appointment is typically 4 hours in length, but can vary.

DETAILED RESULTS & FEEDBACK
1-2 weeks after the evaluation, the patient attends a feedback session via Zoom, and the psychologist explains the findings and recommendations and answers questions. A written report is emailed following the feedback session.
